Pork in Soy Sauce

Here’s a super easy pork in soy sauce recipe to whip up when you are really in a hurry and for those who are a beginner in cooking. Enjoy!

Pork in Soy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2kg Pork Belly (Slice small)
  • 1 1/2 cup Water (1/2 cup more maybe needed)
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic (crushed and sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce (I used Knorr Seasoning. You may add more that will suit your taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 Medium Red/white onion (slice thinly)

Directions

Step 1
Heat pan in medium heat. Add sliced pork belly then add water.
Step 2
Cover and cook until light brown. Occasional stirring.
Step 3
Then add garlic. Continue cooking for about 2 mins.
Step 4
Add soy sauce and black pepper. Continue cooking until mixture evaporates. (Check pork tenderness. You may need to add more water 1/2 cup at a time until pork is tender.
Step 5
Add onions and check taste. Add more soy sauce if you need to.
Step 6
Serve with hot rice and enjoy!
