Pork in Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2kg Pork Belly (Slice small)
- 1 1/2 cup Water (1/2 cup more maybe needed)
- 2 tablespoons Garlic (crushed and sliced)
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce (I used Knorr Seasoning. You may add more that will suit your taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1 Medium Red/white onion (slice thinly)
Directions
Step 1 | |
Heat pan in medium heat. Add sliced pork belly then add water. | |

Cover and cook until light brown. Occasional stirring. | |
Step 3 | |
Then add garlic. Continue cooking for about 2 mins. | |
Step 4 | |
Add soy sauce and black pepper. Continue cooking until mixture evaporates. (Check pork tenderness. You may need to add more water 1/2 cup at a time until pork is tender. | |
Step 5 | |
Add onions and check taste. Add more soy sauce if you need to. | |
Step 6 | |
Serve with hot rice and enjoy! |
